How to make Uttapam Recipe

Making uttapam is very simple! Here is an easy uttapam recipe:

Material:

2 cups dosa batter (if bought from market, preferably uttapam batter)
One cup semolina (rava)
1 small onion, grated
1 small tomato, grated
One green chilli, grated
1/2 tsp tamarind juice
salt as per taste
Oil to make Uttapam

How to make:

Take dosa batter in a big bowl and add semolina to it. Mix it well so that gas is formed.
Add grated onion, tomato, green chilli, tamarind juice and salt to it.
Add water until the batter becomes a little thin, but not very thick.
Now heat oil on a nonstick pan.
Dip a thread or a small raw clay bowl in hot oil and coat it well.
Pour the batter in the pan and spread it in a circular shape.
Now keep turning it slowly with a spoon so that it becomes golden from both the sides.
When the uttapam turns golden in color and starts cooking from both the sides, take it out.
Serve it with chutney or sambar.
And your delicious uttapam is ready!
