Material:

2 coconuts (grated)
2 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon urad dal
1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
salt as per taste
Some curry leaves (optional)

Tadka:

1 teaspoon oil
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 teaspoon urad dal
1/2 teaspoon mastard dal

Recipe:

Grate coconut:

Initially, grate two coconuts along with the peel and place them in a large bowl.

Prepare tadka:

In a pan, heat two spoons of oil.
Add mustard seeds, urad dal, and cumin seeds to hot oil.
Make tadka and add grated coconut to it.

Mix spices:

Mix the tempering well in coconut.
Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt to it.

Cook:

Mix all the spices well and let the chutney cook slowly.
Keep the chutney stirring and mixing from time to time.

Season:

If you wish, heat oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, master dal, and curry leaves.
Make tadka and pour over chutney.

Serve:

Cool the prepared coconut chutney and serve.
